Action Coin Swap Updates & Procedures
As many of you already know, we launched a new blockchain earlier this year. This resulted in a more than 5X reduction in the Action Coin supply; from 10 billion ACTN to 1.799 billion ACTN.
These changes have resulted in a mandatory coin swap, with 1 new ACTN being provided in exchange for 5 of the old ACTN. Third party apps, exchanges and wallets that have integrated with us (the ones that we’re aware of anyways), have been notified so that they may facilitate the Action Coin swap for each of their users.
STEX Exchange was the first organization to complete a swap for their community. Deposit, withdraw and trading functions have since been re-enabled.
HEBE Wallet graciously added swap functionality to their “decentralized multi-chain wallet”, so their users may complete the Action Coin swap in app. The latest version of their app will be released in the near future.
SWFT Blockchain has not yet facilitated a swap for their user base. It appears that they are still transacting on our old blockchain…
Aircoins Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt will be completing an in app coin swap for their users in the near future.
Website Balance Swaps (actioncoin.com) are complete. As part of the decentralization process, each of our registered community members must now transfer their full balance from the website to our blockchain (you will need to create a new wallet first). All balance transfers must be completed by July 1st, 2021.
Action Coin Swaps from our old web wallet (wallet.actioncoin.com), to one of several branded wallets that have been integrated with our new blockchain (1, 2, 3), have been underway for the past 8 months. Each swap request is manually reviewed and completed by an Action Coin team member.
To initiate a coin swap from the old web wallet:
1). Create a wallet on our new blockchain (1, 2, 3).
2). Login to the old web wallet and prepare to send all of your ACTN to our central wallet address.
3). You must include an unencrypted message (containing your new wallet address) with your transaction! Failure to include a new wallet address will result in your ACTN being returned to you. Failure to include the correct wallet address will result in a complete loss, as we cannot recover coins that are sent to the wrong destination.
4). Send your old ACTN to: ACTN-LG7Q-PV3X-RW8L-ELAEV
Remember: The total ACTN supply has been reduced from 10 billion coins to 2 billion coins. That means you will receive 1 new coin in exchange for 5 old coins.
All swap requests are subject to review by a member of our team. We will send your new coins as quickly as possible.
